  1. Watch your language. "Damn" is pretty frowned upon in the community

Sorry ^^; But you have to admit his eyes can be a pain to draw, especialy when you're trying to draw them looking forward when most of the pictures of him have him looking at something, thus changing the angle of his eyes.

  2. I relize I havent been the true calm me around here. I don't know why. Maybe all this tech week stress is getting to me and I feel like I need to unleash it here. I'm not going to leave, and I will try to improve my artwork (currently in the process of trying to draw the Genie's damn EYES RIGHT). I hope you can try to forgive me.

  3. Is this how you treat all of your relatively new members? Trolling them and bashing their intrests while making up stories about them? :smad: :smad: I was going to show my fangame here, but I couldn't anyway since it kept on crashing, but NOW this gives me another reason not to show it! I wasn't welcomedlike this at any other forum! Heck, MaccaFunHouse members are nicer to their members than you guys! And what Spike posted in my second thread was definatly the last straw! If you guys don't shape up towards me, I'm getting the hell out of here!

  4. I still don't get the whole "13 year old who feels like he's 53" thing. Are you trying to establish that you're a pedophile or something?

Do your parents know that you're using a computer on the internet? Do you realize that you are quite possibly more fucked up than Yoko Ono?

    1. That thing is meant to be showing that with all my intrests (not to metion my back pains) I feel like I'm a 53 year old in a 13 year old's body at certain points.

    2. They know I'm using the internet.

    3. I don't think anyone, not even me, can be more screwed up than Yoko O(h)no(!).

  5. I see. Jokes like, "Hey I listened to what you said [artwork of babies taking no criticism into consideration] tell me what you think!"

DW: I didn't really look at details on his DA, I was more or less trying to clarify, because I'm genuinely interested/confused.

Well, if it's suggestions I'll listen, but if it's something like somply saying "It sucks" with no explanation, I'll take it with a grain of salt and just laugh at it.

DW: I have had ENOUGH of your trolling on me! I have a facebook, but it's not like that! I'm not giving it out because 1. My experience on here hasn't been a good one 2. I don't use facebook very often.

  6. First of all, I don't understand why everyone capitalizes my name. It isn't capitalized.

Second, you have got to be some sort of awesome troll or something srsly.

    Lastly, whats DL and TB?

Finally, I really don't think you can tell when anyone here is being serious and/or joking.

EDIT: I just noticed that earlier, Cyber Rat used my name without capitalizing it. Thank you. I just think it looks weird capitalized.

Double Edit: Found out what TB and DL are. Where do you find people like this to become friends with?

    1. Sorry, just it's habit for me to capitalize names.

    2. I'm not a troll, just a comedic actor.

    3. I find them on Deviant Art

    4. I relize when certain people are being serious or joking (ex: Ristar, Ila, etc.)

  7. I love how you managed to take all this criticism like this.

If I was in his position I would've Rage Quit by now.

I Salute the mayor of awesome.

I do find it funny how Conic warns us not to go overboard...looking at our posts...I thought we already did XD

Yeah, half the time I can't tell when you're serious and when you're not. :squestion:

  8. XD You guys are getting worked up just because I draw stuff like this? Actually, I'm just a "semi-normal" guy with Asperger's Syndrome. I'm not a DL or TB, but I like their art and am friends with some. I would understand people being a little concerned if I showed some of my pictures of Macca babyfied, but let's not go overboard here! XD I'm actually working hard on other atwork too(most of it being related to Aladdin since I am in my school's production of it as Narrator #3)! I don't really care if you hate it! It's great if you like it, but I don't mind if you hate it! XD

EDIT: I prefer to be a mayor of groovy, or maybe a Black Dog. I was a Knight in White Satin, but maybe I need to be a Knight who says NI! Maybe I need to become Sgt. Pepper. Oh, and have I ever mentioned that I was an illuminati dis-info agent? XD jk

  9. I will give these pictures titles.

    1. Baby Sonic Born with Downs Syndrome

    2. Sonic Outgrows Diaper, Signals for Scissors to Cut It Off

    3. Sonic after Hitting Himself with his Blue Club after Deciding to Wear Such Stupid Pajamas

Um, weird titles for them. Here are the actual titles

    1. Baby Sonic

    2. Baby Sonic- Peace and Love

    3. Bedtime for little Sonic

  10. Why does he appear to have a rag stuffed in his diaper

If you mean the lines on the diaper, its to add a little more detail.

If you mean the lines on his clothes, it's because I'm still not too sure which lines go on which part of the article of clothing

why is his head so huge and he has no waist?

why are his hands not hands?

    His head is huge because younger people tend to have larger heads in general when it comes to any form of animation. He has a waist, it begins where his shirt ends. And the hands thing is just a lazy drawing tactic for that certain picture ^^;

  11. babysonicbycat02.png

The picture above was made ENTIRELY in MS Paint with no tablet!

    babysonicpeaceandlovebye.png

The picture above was drawn by hand first and then colored in Paint.Net

The picture above was hand drawn on paper first and then colored in Paint.Net. Please share your thoughts on them.

  12. "Good art" is subjective and varies from person to person. It just so happens that everyone here thinks it's bad.

Here, you want me to take it seriously? I'll critique your work like any other artwork:

-He's three years old, but he looks like a midget who's been working the fuck out. The missing teeth seem like an afterthought when you realized he doesn't look like he's three.

-Totally inconsistent proportions. Just looking at your first images, his arms don't even match up. Now, I know I touched myself a lot when I was 3, but not to the point where I developed a masturbating arm. That wasn't until I was 4. Also, your hands look like lego people hands. Zero believability to them.

-To add insult to injury, you can't keep his proportions consistent between drawings. You drew his face twice in the same image and his eyes are totally different shapes, and super close to each other in one shot. Not that they have much room (they're huuuuuuuuuuuge).

-Your colors are super saturated. Tone it down, broski. Too many saturated colors = heavy competition and a violent attack on the retinas.

-Your logo is falt out totally and completely unreadable. I think it says: Star Fighters: McGorgins K.

-Line quality is a mess. A total mess. Ideally, one either keeps lines consistent throughout a drawing, or varies them to emphasize shape and volume. There's no rhyme or reason to how you've used the lines. It's like you drew this with a Wooly Willy.

-That's not how hair shading works. Not unless you shower with Crisco.

Let's look at the second image:

-Great. His skin is kinda pink now. I know you're probably just making this in Paint, but even I knew how to pick decent skin tones using the color tool. Clearly, Hue and Saturation are the furthest things from your mind.

-I have no idea what's going on with your mouths. I get what you're going for, but that point just puuuuuuuuuulls itself dangerously close to the center of the face. I don't know too many artists who do that (cartoonist or otherwise). I tried to envision a scenario where I would possibly smile that much, but it would involve Rachel McAdams, chocolate cake, and booze. Then I got distracted looking at images of Rachel McAdams before realizing I still need to finish this critique.

-Arms are still totally disproportional. One of his arms has a second elbow joint under his sleeve? That or it's horribly bent. And he's got some kind of Popeye thing going on where his forearm is jacked but the rest of his arm is all noodley.

-I don't even want to look at the third image anymore. I'm deleting my history so that my girlfriend doesn't know I was looking at this. This isn't so much of a constructive comment as it is me placing the blame on you if I end up dying alone.

    Things to work on:

    -Proportions

    -Anatomy

    -Color

    -Line Quality

    -Style

EDIT: Oh I didn't read the character bio.

    I'll try to work on those. And the Hiroto thing was a typo that I fixed ^^;

And you were close on how I made it, but no cigar. I drew it on paper, scanned it in, and colored it on Paint.NET

  13. Just take the advice man, it means well. Don't set the story someplace you don't currently live in or haven't lived for a reasonable amount of time. Practice. Take criticism, etc.

I took the criticism on my art, but I'm keeping the setting. If you guys would just accept that I won't change the setting and stop trying to convince me to do so we'll get along.

  14. Your immaturity really shows. We've tried to give you constructive criticism and help you out, but you've decided to be a little whiner about it.

And no, you do not know how to draw. It doesn't matter if it's "good for kids your age", it's not good enough to be a "manga". Until you can admit this and actually practice, you're never going to improve.

If I did not know how to draw, then how could I produce the images I produced? You just don't like the style probably. I took your advice and I admit it's not good enough for a PROFENSIONAL manga, but it's probably decent for an AMUTUER manga.

I have a grasp of what life in Japan is like (not JUST from anime, but from research and my dad who used to be a SOCIAL STUDIES TEACHER AND A GEOGRAPHY TEACHER)! You guys probably don't like the idea of the manga, but it's how it's executed is how it counts.

Imagine if you were in the same room with The Beatles when they decided not to tour anymore. You might've thought they were crazy, but look at what came from it. It is all in the execution of the idea.

My point is that I'll defend my art no matter what.:smad: :smad: :smad:

  15. Please... just go back to deviantart and quit while people are still showing some semblance of kindness. You're doing absolutely everything wrong and need some sort of wake up call.

The true turning point in an artist of any kind's life is when he doesn't care what over people think. It appears that you guys don't understand what I'm trying to do with this series I'm making. I don't expect everyone to like it, but I don't expect it to flop either. From day one I was either hassled or heckled, and this is no exception. I understand you guys might not like it and think I should do some things differently, but don't act like it's your way or the highway!

I hope this same cycle doesn't repeat when I release a demo of my fangame soon.

  16. I know how to draw! My art is not the best, but it's better than most kids my age! And I just relized: You guys said that manga wasn't an accurate representation of japanese life, but the manga I'm making doesn't really focus on the everyday life of this person. It focuses on his and his borther's fight to stop Hiroto Junaido from causing a war in Japan and to stop him from conquering all the world.
