Hey everyone! This is long overdue, but we will be bring a demo of SEOD to SAGE this year! We are just putting the finishing touches on various things here and there within the demo itself, and we will be submitting it very, very soon.

Everyone, after almost 3-4 years, we will finally have a playable demo available to the public!

Does someone know where i can get such kind of custom tilesets?
the ones you guys use looks great.
Everything is made by me. All of the graphics are either original, built off of other sheets, or from various other games. Like Highwire said, everything is made mostly in Paint, but also other programs.

Work on the game will most likely resume sometime over the weekend. Well, not on my end anyway because my computer crapped out on me. All of my files are still there but it's like they've disappeared. I will be getting it fixed probably tomorrow, but once I do, I will be getting back into making, editing, revamping, and finishing the tilesets.

I do apologize on the lack of updates on the game. We have really been busty and school and such. Game development is really a summer thing. However since we are officially on winter break, you may see something.

My bad, I didn't mean to say the first screenshot, I meant the second screen. The first has already been resolved.

I can't seem to fix the issue in the first screen I have no idea what is causing it. It's probably the sprite.

Send me the engine. It might be a problem with the sprite still.

I'm sorry, but could you please go into a little more detail about what I should do? I can do some things in Game Maker, but it's like you're speaking a foreign language right now.

I know it looks bad. I didn't bother making the trunks cut off, I just added them into the scenery. I do plan on adding them though.

It's not much, but I spent almost 2 hours editing the room to add a sandy section at the beginning of the zone.

OOOOH! I see what you mean now. I thought you meant changing the shading so that it's more towards the center rather than the right side of the tree.

Here's another idea. Take the basic Ristar trunk you have and straighten out the shading so its 90 degrees, straight up. Sonic trunks are typically straight so I think if you change it it will look more authentic. All you have to do is a small section and then you can duplicate it up.

Better? I tried adding more leaves and make the shading more realistic.

Hey guys. Just as a quick update, I apologize for the fact that I rarely ever visit the forums anymore. I've been really busy regarding personal matters, and to top it all off my computer's hard drive crashed not too long ago. I'm still very much working on the project, making tilesets, character sprites, the works, I've just had a few setbacks recently. Once my whole computer situation gets sorted out, things will change tremendously.
