  1. I think he was referring to the "Dekoldrick website" as another forum I go to, where there is a filter on some words. I don't think we have a thundersonic on our boards though, unless he was banned, which is highly probable.

    On another note I think all the medals should prevent you from getting 1st, whatever that's supposed to mean.

    That does not matter when dekoldrick DOES not make me come to his site, I know he know's rap, sonic, mario and other things there and i saw it.

    By the way when is Sonic The ultimate hedgehog game No name is comming out.

    And i just guest the name of it.

  2. Sincerely sorry I had to bring this name up, feel free to move, close or delete as you guys see fit. I figured this could be good for a laugh.

    Moderators can see Ip's...and emails... Picture explains everything:

    I figured at least Rael would want to see this.

    I really cant believe he would stoop that low as to impersonate someone else.

    I figured this would fit the fangame section as there are some "NEW" Retro sonic XG screen caps. If said game is still in the works and blaze did steal them, I can blur them out for you, just ask me too and I'll replace it, I kind of doubt it though.

    EDIT-BTW: how often do you guys have to deal with ban-dodgers, and what do you guys do with them, we are having trouble with em lately.

    Well Fangamerevolver remember me right it is me, Thundersonic3 on Dekoldrick site right.

    I know it may have trouble from sonic xg but that game kinda look bad i think.

  3. If anyone's interested, I made an english Tutorial (sort of) for the game mechanics, open the Spoiler tab for it:

    You use 6 buttons, A (weak attack), B (medium attack), C (strong attack), D (heavy attack), E (energy charge), F (evasion).

    The basic combo would be A, B, C, D(sends the opponent flying), D(homing attack at the opponent); but you'll see that there's a lot of variety using the various Special Moves on ground and air.

    All Special Moves are done with combinations like:

    -> + attack

    <- + attack

    Down + attack

    Down, -> + attack

    Down, <- + attack

    Down, <-, -> + attack

    Down, ->, <- + attack

    Down, Down + attack

    <-, -> + attack

    ->, <- + attack

    ->, <-, -> + attack

    <-, ->, <- + attack

    Super Moves use 1 level of your Power Gauge, each character has 3 different ones, and they're done with combinations like:

    Down, Down + attack

    Down, ->, Down, -> + attack

    Down, <-, Down, <- + attack

    <-, ->, <-, -> + attack

    ->, <-, ->, <- + attack

    Other useful moves:

    - High Jump: Down, Up

    - Air Recovery: Up, when at the peak of your flight (regain control of your character in the air)

    - Ground Recovery: Up, when about to hit the ground (regain control of your character on the ground)

    - Wall Recovery: <- or ->, when about to hit right or left wall (regain control of you character besides the wall)

    - Uppercut (sort of): Down + D (sends the opponent upwards, good combo launcher)

    - Energy Charge: E (some characters also recharge health or specific ability bars)

    - Dash (also works in air): <-, <- or ->, -> (can't be hit at the very beginning of it)

    - Aerial (also works in air): -> + F (short leap forward, can't be hit during it; need at least 1 level of the Energy Gauge, and uses 10% of it...at 0 energy level, it's a shorter forward Dash)

    - Backwards Evasion: <- + F (a long backwards dash, can't be hit during it; need at least 1 level of the Energy Gauge, and uses a little bit of it...at 0 energy level, it's a normal backwards Dash)

    - Force Guard: Down + F (barrier that makes you temporarily invincible, but you can't move; need at least 1 level of the Energy Gauge, and uses 10% of it)

    - Throw: -> + C (while close to your opponent)

    - Air Throw: -> + C (while close to your opponent, in the air)

    - Throw Recovery: C, press quickly when the opponent catches you for a Throw (gets out of the opponent's grasp)

    - Guard: <- (can be broken if you guard too many consecutive hits; check the guard meter bar under your health bar)

    - Just Defense: <-, guard an attack just before it hits you (stuns the opponent for a short time)

    - Blocking: ->, while guarding a series of attacks (counters the attacker)

    - Special Ability Derivation: when you hit the opponent with the right Special Move, hold the direction where your opponent is and quickly press the attack button you used to perform that move (the right Special Move is the one that displays the "Special ability derivation!" message when it hits the opponent, but not all characters have one of those; if done correctly, after the special you'll hit the opponent with additional attacks, and the message "Additional special ability SUCCESS!!" will be displayed)

    N.B. I listed the commands considering your character is facing the right; when he is facing the left, all directions are obviously inverted.

    Anyway Ututuya, I know I'm late to the party, but I guess a huge "Thank You" for this game is in order: it's amazingly engaging, solid, polished and really well thought out in details.

    You should advertise it much more outside Japan, I found out about it by a fortunate mistake, but there are no decent english sources; this game would be a huge success if it had more visibility.

    Also, there's a program called Lunaport that allows online play for games developed with 2D Fighter Maker, but we need more players! :asweatdrop:

    (I know you play it online through Windows Messenger, but I can't understand the japanese guide on your website)

    Oh, and lastly, there's one most noticeable bug that I hope you'll fix in the next version: whenever you cross your opponent in the air, all your commands get inverted but your character won't turn around until he lands on the ground...this gets really confusing, and the AI seems to suffer from it as well.

    Other then that, thanks again for this really awesome jewel of a game! :tgrin:

    Edit: In case people didn't notice, the next version will be coming soon, as teased in the website:

    http://66.196.80.202/babelfish/translate_url_content?.intl=us&lp=ja_en&trurl=http%3a%2f%2fwww7a.biglobe.ne.jp%2f%7esdside%2fsblentop.html

    Can't wait!! :aparty:

    Those attack are good but, it concerned me about that game.

    Did this game need a version or a demo or something.

  4. I'm liking the second pic. Tiles look nicer and the floor looks good. Maybe a different colour other than white to tie it in a little better? Also, the black spaces need something in them. If it's a spring stage how about alternating Sonic and Tails style emblems on those spaces? Kind of like the rotating Casino Night Zone emblems just they don't have to rotate. Dunno whether that'll look to 'busy' though.

    It will look good, in a matter of Fact it should add Shadow the hedgehog on it...

    Reason why, this "game" look's good! but great game I thought.

  5. Indeed this game looks great. I've played the demo and must admit that gameplay is enjoyable and very classic-ish. Object placement is good (not perfect though), level doesn't feel empty and physics are really good.

    There is one thing that is bothering me however. You claim it as a classic game so what does ranking system do in this game? Ranking just doesn't fit, really.

    I did not see why this game have demo, but looks awsome thoe.

    nice game...
