While it's appreciated that you'd want to make a game for/with the site, you can't just ask for so much with absolutely nothing to show for it. With that said, please come back with a good amount of progress and I'm sure we'll be much more willing to hear about and/or help with your project.

Hey look, somewhere I can post that one sketch I did in the last three months. No, I'm not really much of an artist yet. I want to get better, I just don't think I have the patience. I'll really start practicing one of these days....

I haven't gotten the chance to finish the demo myself, but from what I know, Freedom Planet has very Sonic-inspired roots; from similar set pieces right down to the ability to roll upon pressing down. As they say in their FAQ however, a game with similar physics and gameplay hadn't been made in recent years, but there were many other Sonic-inspired games in the past. As of right now, all that's available is a demo with two playable characters and a single level (I think), but the creators are trying to get the game on Steam via the Greenlight system. I put my vote in to see it happen, and I hope that the creators can get their game out there. As far as the full game is concerned, they've promised the following content: I myself am probably gonna finish up the demo soon, as well as try the second character, Carol. I'm enjoying the game so far, although of all the Sonic elements to take inspiration from, I sort of wish they had included the spindash. I guess that'd be pushing it, but either way I think Freedom Planet is well worth checking out and supporting!

Seriously, every forum needs one of these. Use this topic to let out any feelings wandering around in your head; many times getting your emotions or thoughts in the open can help you feel better or find someone who relates to you. So how am I doing? Well for the most part, I'm getting better. I've done a lot of growing in the last few months I feel, and I've just started to make up with people I had problems with in the past. The one thing really troubling me right now is that I'm concerned about my relationship with a friend. I won't say much since I've learned my lesson regarding talking about people who are on the board already, but I'll just say that I'm starting to get nervous around them... not that they're bad or have bad intentions, but because they get angry easily, and then start doing rash things. I think I've probably said more than I should, but the point is I really hope we can ♫ find some way to communicate ♫
