Piss-poor genre roulette, control issues, and at times abysmal technical standards.
No, It did not age well. It may have been good back in the day, but by modern standards it is not.

Kinect is actually a double-edged sword for devs. Forced implementation with the console could in theory produce quality usage eventually...but likewise, it could also result in a lot of 'shovelware' and forced inclusions that range from inconvenient to downright stupid.
Oh, and as for the DRM, would you believe that people are legitimately petitioning to get the Xbox One back to the way it was?

I have 0 hours in New Leaf.
I'm a terrible person.
Me too. I feel bad.
I've been playing Plants vs. Zombies a lot lately, for some reason.

Leaning more towards the PS4 at the moment, but I'm looking for a better display of new exclusives before I make my final judgment. It is unlikely that I'll acquire it on launch day anyway.

Generation II is my favourite in terms of actual Pokemon. As far as the anime goes, Ash was always retarded.
-
@MTwinny: Problem is, main series Sonic titles generally release in two year intervals, meaning that, even if all three exclusive titles release this year, it is likely that Microsoft and Sony consoles will still be required to wait at least two years before seeing a Sonic release.

It's pretty obvious from her introduction that she wants to cut off the ties to her previous identity. As I said, treat her now like you would any other member. It is fine that you recognise her, but perhaps it would be best to simply drop this conversation.

I'm assuming that we as a community are just going to pretend that we haven't noticed. Treat her as you would any other member.

Gameplay is not particularly exciting. Seems like a clusterfuck effort yet again to appeal to nostalgia.
Level design has the potential to be interesting, but Green Hill version 1,000,000 was somewhat boring.
Villain designs are unbelievably atrocious and make me want to throw up.
Aesthetics are decent, although the graphical quality is worse than in Generations.
So, yeah. I'm not one to buy into a system for any one great game either, never mind one that looks mediocre. I'll of course wait on more gameplay and information to make my final judgment, but I'm not particularly optimistic at this point.

You know it's awesome. This is the desktop for my recently acquired laptop.

So, not a Rayman fan at all then.
Started playing Team Fortress 2 as well.

Yes, I recently acquired Steam.

@DaHog: It is advisable that you source your information whenever possible. How did you come across that particular piece of news?
@MTwinny: But introducing new characters always did SEGA well in the past.

I have heard a lot of good things about Castle Crashers.
One day I'll give it a shot.
Fixed.
Play the game at least once, you owe yourself that much. It is available on X360, PS3 and PC (Steam) with a demo available for the former two, not sure about the latter.

I guess that, while I was at it, I should hoped for a main series title on a console I'll actually play.

I've got a question for both Sonic and Tails: What happened to your personalities?

I'm hoping for a main series game this time around, considering we should be due for one soon. I'd find it very difficult to get legitimately excited for another spin-off or mobile game at this point.

Gravity Rush (PSVita)
Because I have recently acquired a PlayStation Vita and this is one of the games I most wanted. It rarely disappoints. Interesting art style, enemy design, and the gameplay mechanics, though sometimes finicky, are well implemented and cool.
Castle Crashers (XBLA)
Because apparently I can't go for any significant length of time without playing this.

CASTLE CRASHERS!
Absolutely wonderful game, it pretty much single-handedly caused me to become interested in the Xbox Live Arcade service. I absolutely adore the art style. My favourite character would have to be the Alien Hominid, (honourable mentions go out to the Fire Demon and Ninjer, however.), it takes a special kind of crazy to use a fragmentation grenade as your shield and wield your blaster as a sword and beat things to death with it.
He is approximately the most awesome thing in existence.
Also, the game has an epic OST, probably one of the best soundtracks I have come across in a game, ever. There is plenty of awesome music in this game, but the following would have to be my favourite.

Blatant exaggeration. The power brick is actually smaller than the one for the Xbox 360. Notably smaller, in fact.
