    Topic merged with the feedback thread~ Thanks for the feedback. The problem with these social elements is that they tend to decrease posting activity on the forums. We have a general discussion board which has the same purpose as status updates, but the general discussion board has low activity because of the status updates. We found having both of these to be redundant so we decided to remove the status updates and go with just the general discussion board. We decided to remove the likes feature as we have found them to decrease posting activity; e.g. a user will simply hit "like" instead of posting their thoughts. Our goal is to take the board in being more forums based rather than social media based, however we will consider bringing back these social media elements if there's enough support for them.
