I have a bit of an unfortunate announcement to make (depending on how you look at it). I recently put Roblet Land on hold to revamp my previous 2D platformer project (Superstar Technic). Let me explain.
I originally thought Roblet Land would be a very simple project, but it turns out there's far too much that will need to go into it with the current plans. I worry it will never get done if I make it my first project.
That being said, it isn't cancelled, and I really want to come back to it later. I've been working on remaking ST from the ground up again (still in GMS1), and I'll likely simplify it from the original plans and make some changes. I want it to stand out somehow, even if it won't be too unique.
In addition, I've considered starting a smaller, side project that's also a 2D platformer, though very different from ST and possibly most other platformers. This would also have a new protagonist, though I'm not sure I should start on this soon, or once ST is farther along.
I'm sorry if this disappoints anyone. Would appreciate if people could share their thoughts on all this.
It's good to have some variation in game development. It can become incredibly repetitive when you work on the same project. It's not cancelled, so this seems like a good move. Perhaps you can then resume working on Roblet Land with more inspiration.

I've made another quadtych for @HexagonalHex' Sonic Time Corruption, not-Green Hill or as we like to call it, Tropical Trouble. Not the biggest fan of the stage concept myself, but it's the art that counts and I think I didn't skimp on that.
I love how much detail was put into this. Looks incredible.
When can we expect a demo?

An indie crossover game is a pretty interesting idea. Surprised I'm only just finding out about this project now.

I do think the lack of consistency in the canon is a problem. Especially with how often everything changes.

But we now have Sonic Mania, so huzzah !
It would still be nice to see Sonic 3 & Knuckles remade with Christina Whitehead's engine. It's the only classic title not available on mobile devices.

Looks great.

Big the Cat gameplay in Cool Edge. I'm surprised to see Cool Edge of all Sonic levels make it into this game.

I don't really know how I feel about this. I always thought of Classic Sonic as a younger Sonic, as Sonic Generations quite clearly stated this was true. I really like the idea of Classic Sonic and Modern Sonic both having their own separate brands, however I'm not a fan of the different dimension idea. I vastly prefer Classic Sonic just being a younger Sonic. Distancing them to such a degree seems unnecessary and convoluted to me.

I'd suggest including screenshots or some type of proof of development. More people will be interested in joining if you present some type of proof.

This shall be my thread now, as i took over this game
in the last few years i've been reworking this game to reuse it's beta art style with some new things thrown in, here for example is a mockup of seaside valley act 1 using a mix of it's 2014 beta and 2015 designs
Any idea when a beta will be released?

Great shots. Must be difficult to take such clear photos up close.

I'm currently playing Sonic Forces. I'm trying to collect all of the red rings.

I'm really looking forward to this. I loved the first two. I just hope they make good track choices.

I'm currently playing Animal Crossing New Leaf. Still trying to unlock the police station almost five years later.

I suppose it depends on the writers at the time and how they see the characters. I wouldn't be surprised if there's some type of silent reboot eventually with how much inconsistency there has been story-wise.

Looking forward to it. We're finally getting more movies based on video games. I loved Wreck-It Ralph.
