These unused layouts are much better than the layouts in the final DLC.

Uploaded a new video that shows off a tileset I'm working on! There's some images in the first post too.
Looks great.

They have now confirmed that a new game is in development but gave no details. Doubt were getting anything this year. Probably not until next year or maybe not even until 2021 for Sonics 30th Anniversary.
I wouldn't be surprised if something is announced at E3.

This was likely for Sonic Overdrive.

Team Sonic Racing is out and it's pretty good. IGN gave it an 8.5/10.

It's not the full version.

Multimedia Fusion is not free. You can purchase it on their website and try a demo:

Time to post something here for once. More concept than asset this time, it's a new life system for Sonic Time Corruption, working a bit like in Contra and similar games but with checkpoints. I personally love it, but what do you guy(s) think of it?The transition is really nice. It's seamless and stylish. The HUD and Sonic's sprites also look great.

For me yeah. It's still one of my favorite 3D Sonic games. Only complaint is that it was to short of a game. Shame they never added more levels as DLC.
The lack of DLC was a huge missed opportunity honestly.

Sonic Generations was released in 2011 and was met with acclaim from fans along with good scores from critics. It was praised for quite some time, however it has been almost 8 years since Sonic Generations was released. Do you think it still holds up today?

A Hat in Time is a collect-a-thon platform adventure developed by Gears for Breakfast. It was released in October 2017 for PC and was released for Playstation 4 and Xbox One in December 2017. A Hat in Time will be released for Switch in Spring 2019.
I haven't played it yet but I was quite interested in this game. It's reminiscent of Mario 64 and Banjo-Kazooie.

The character design is mostly what I was expecting based on the silhouette from the poster.
-
I'm going to guess it'll be either Sonic Mania Adventures Season 2 or Sonic Mania Adventures turned into a full length animated TV series.

We originally launched the restoration of the Sonic United forums in August 2017. The forums went down the following month due to issues with the database. We restored a backup in December 2017 which has been in place since, however it was missing a lot of features we added in the August 2017 restoration. "Guidelines" have been readded, our "Privacy Policy" has been readded. New widgets have been added to pages such as "Who's Browsing" and "Similar Content" which is quite useful. There are other smaller improvements made. More updates are in progress.

I'm considering watching My Hero Academia.

Rumor has it that they are working on Playstation 5. I wonder if that's why they skipped it? Maybe they are not ready to reveal it yet.
Feels a little soon for next gen consoles.
Then again, the PS4 is turning 6 years old.

We'll probably see more Team Sonic Racing gameplay at SXSW.

As you can see, there has been an extreme lack of updates from staff. The site as a whole has been at a standstill for quite a while with a lack of new content and lack of activity. The site has gone under restructuring and I am happy to announce that this will no longer be the case.
We managed to fix and restore the Sonic United forums database last year which was a huge accomplishment after it broke in May 2015, however it's still missing several themes and the overall plan for the forums was simply put on pause. gsoft will be finishing his IPS4 ports of his Soft and Firefly' themes shortly and we have some surprises for the community in the coming months.
The entire staff team is currently being reworked. Several old staff members have rejoined the staff team over recent months and there will be new staff members joining the staff team soon. More news on that front will be announced soon.
Expect a lot more content posted on the main site in the coming weeks. New content will be posted in addition to old content being revamped. This will go beyond news and music. We have some surprises in store too.
We have huge plans for SoaH City in 2019 and we can't wait to reveal them all, so stay tuned!

Sonic Lost World was in development for 2 years. Sonic Forces was in development for 4 years, however 2 years were spent on the graphical engine and the other 2 were spent on the actual game. Based on the development timelines of recent titles, do you think there will be a new main series Sonic title in 2019?

There's not much new info, but it's an interesting read. They go in-depth on the redesigns, different gameplay styles, and Iizuka states he's interested in remaking Sonic Adventure. It's definitely worth reading. I bought a copy myself.

Going to give this a chance.
