SEGA’s official Japan website has revealed new SONIC X SHADOW GENERATIONS details in a new listing for the title. In addition, new official art and screenshots are featured in the listing.
Special move “Chaos Control” and new power “Doom Power”
The official SEGA JP site details Shadow’s abilities in-game. Shadow’s special move “Chaos Control,” returns and can be used to stop time, allowing the player overcome difficulties. Shadow’s new dark power, “Doom Power,” can be used to blow away hordes of enemies and dash across water, allowing you to enjoy action you’ve never experienced before.
Run freely through “White Space” and explore!
The story progresses around the freely roaming 3D HUB “White Space”. By acquiring Doom Power, the HUB will expand, and there are plenty of elements to play with, such as conversations with characters, finding hidden items, and taking on challenges. Run around freely and enjoy every corner of White Space!
New Features Added to Sonic Generations!
New features include “Chao Rescue,” in which you rescue the adorable Chao creatures scattered across the land, and “Drop Dash,” an action introduced in Sonic Mania.
SONIC X SHADOW GENERATIONS is set to be released October 25, 2024 for Sony PlayStation 5, Sony PlayStation 4, Microsoft Xbox Series X, Microsoft Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, and PC with prices starting at $49.99.
