Sonic Boom: Shattered Crystal was released in 2014 for the Nintendo 3DS alongside Sonic Boom: Rise of Lyric for the Wii U as a bid to reboot the Sonic franchise. Sonic Boom: Shattered Crystal was developed by Sanzaru Games and published by SEGA. Play as Sonic, Tails, Knuckles and newcomer Sticks the Badger. All playable characters have their own unique abilities. The player must search for a pieces of a large shattered crystal throughout levels similar to Crash Bandicoot. Unlike Sonic Boom: Rise of Lyric, Sonic Boom: Shattered Crystal is a 2D action-platformer. The soundtrack was composed by Richard Jacques. You can listen to the entire soundtrack here at SoaH City!
