» June 23, 2009 / Happy Birthday, Sonic!
Today is Sonic's birthday, so of course I have an update for today!

In the music section, I uploaded Knuckles Chaotix. I could've sworn it was up already. Anyway, the songs have corrected ID tags and attached album artwork that I made similar to past classic Sonic games that I've created.

In the comics, I uploaded a very old Sonic fan comic that was made years ago that I've recently gotten some requests to return it: Kyuuketsuki. If you like vampires, mature plots, and don't mind reading an old black and white comic, then go check it out. If you have a quality Sonic fan comic that you've drawn (sorry, no sprite comics), feel free to submit it to SoaH and we'll publish it here.

In the Fan Videos section, I updated the Comedy page with Sonic Advance Crackups, Sonic Shorts: Volume 3, Sonic Shorts: Volume 4, Night of the Warhog, and Sonic Shorts: Volume 5.

In the Movies section, brush up on your history of Sonic Adventure with the Sonic Adventure DX Directors Cut Commentary with Takashi Iizuka video that you can download here. There's even a text transcript.

Well, there you have it. There's a bunch of interesting topics going on at the message, including a contest for iPhone wallpapers, so check those out if you haven't already. As I was preparing this update, I found a bunch of old files that I need to get up here for you guys, so I'll have to do that in the future. I'm up, over, and gone!

Woah, it's been awhile since my last update. For this week I just have the results of LOL This Round 17 posted. I have been busy working on a documentary series that showcases interesting places for teens and young adults in Oklahoma called Uncovering Oklahoma. It's been taking up most of my free time.

Also, if you haven't noticed already, the forums are closed. I was planning to reopen them today, but I'm having issues trying to install the new version of IPB. The forums should be open this week.

» April 23, 2009 / Fixes
I took last week off as my birthday was on the 16th and I was busy with life and other projects. For this update I have some corrects to Sonic and the Black Knight Music. The Tales of Knighthood soundtrack was named and tagged wrong. For the starters on all of the songs the album artist has been changed from Sonic to Wave Master Entertainment. There were also some songs name incorrectly:

"Crystal Lake" is actually "Crystal Cave".
"Into the World of King Arthur" is actually "Into the Story of King Arthur"
"Three Days Later... Almost Make It to Meet the Deadline" is "Three Days After... Almost Make It to Meet the Deadline"
"Knights Passage" is "Knight's Passage". Missed the apostrophe.

All of the songs have been reuploaded with the corrections. If you haven't downloaded it, just make the changes listed above.

I do have something new. The results of LOL This Round 16 have been posted. Since the event has been going so well, I've broken up the images into sets of 10 per page. That's all for this week.

» April 11, 2009 / It's Just a Flesh Wound
It's the update everyone has been waiting for: Sonic and the Black Knight Music! It's a massive update that includes the Face to Faith album, Tales of Knighthood album, and lyrics for the vocal tracks. All of the songs have good cover artwork attached to them, which is why it took a day later. The music was posted on the forums earlier as big collections, but here you can download whatever songs you want. This is the first update I've made with my brand new iMac. I'm enjoying my new computer. It's so much faster and more powerful. Anyway, go get the songs because I know you want them.

I'm tired, so just a quick update. The results from Round 15 LOL This Sonic Fans have been posted. Even though SoaP was an April Fools gag, the LOL This Mario Fans round is real. I thought it would be fun to do a different subject. You can discuss this in the forums and submit some new smiles.

Okay, April Fools is over with, so SoaH is back to normal. Everyone enjoyed the joke and I know I fooled at least one person. I'll update later on this week with at least LOL This.

» April 1, 2009 / Shadow of a Plumber Emerges From the Pipes
Since I am unable to beat King Arthur the second time in Sonic and the Black Knight, I have decided to give up on Sonic all together. I am going to focus on a real video character that never disappoints: Mario! I never had any trouble beating any of the bosses in any of the Mario games. To show my support for Mario, I've uploaded a ton of Mario songs in the Music section. We're also starting Round 1 of LOL This Mario Fans in the forums.

» March 28, 2009 / Sonic Adventure Soundtrack
I got a pretty big update today. Well, at least it required a bit of work for me. The entire Sonic Adventure Soundtrack has been re-uploaded in a higher quality (320 kpbs vs. 192 kpbs), album artwork attached to every song, and song artist tagged to every track. If you've downloaded the album from us in the past, I highly recommend that you replace it with this version. I personally ripped this one myself and scanned the album cover.

The Black Knight soundtrack should be released within a few weeks, so keep an eye out for that in a future update.

The classic Sonic 1 (16-Bit) version music has been re-uploaded with proper ID tags and SoaH exclusive album artwork. I've gotten some messages lately that the links were broken, so that's all been taken over of, and then some, with this update.

I do have something new as well. I also uploaded all of the Sonic 1 Game Gear version music. It has a SoaH exclusive album artwork attached the the mp3s as well.

Hey, guys I posted the results of Round 13 of LOL This Sonic Fans. I also updated the layout for the section a bit. You'll see the original image first before seeing the first place winner and the round title is in a yellow bar. Also, please Up Vote LOL This on Reddit!

Since Sonic and the Black Knight was released in the U.S. this week, I do have some Black Knight goodies. You can download the entire game's music in .zip format via Mega Upload. Please note that this is a direct rip of the game's .adx files, so none of the songs are tagged. The game's albums (yes there will be two) will be out early next month, so I'll wait until I get my hands on that before uploading the music to SoaH. The music is freakin' awesome.

Yo, Dawg, I heard you like iPhone wallpapers so I put some iPhone wallpapers in the iPhone wallpapers section. You'll also find some Crush 40 iProduct wallpapers so you can listen to Crush 40 while having them on your wallpaper. I also added 3 new ones in Sonic Genesis Style and I opened up Sonic Unleashed and Sonic Rush with three and two respectively. That brings us to 11 new wallpapers today with 20 iPod wallpapers all together.

On the subject of iPods, how about some more music? I've uploaded of what plays of disc 3 of the Sonic 3 & Knuckles: Project Chaos album.

I also have a request. I'm trying to get some screen shots from the Sonic Game Gear games. Read this topic if you can help out.

It's still Saturday, somewhere, so here's this week's update. I've added 8 new Sonic Adventure Style PSP Wallpapers and opened up Sonic Unleashed PSP Wallpapers page with 3 wallpapers. This is the first time I've added PSP wallpapers since I started the section. Anyway, if you got a PSP, check them. I made most of them myself and found a few around the web. I have some more, and some iProduct ones as well, which I'll add another time. Enjoy the 11 new PSP wallpapers.

» February 14, 2009 / Project Chaos with some Laughs
Let's start Valentine's Day with some laughs: check out the results from Round 12 of LOL This Sonic Fans. No one drew up any valentine Sonic cards and I don't have any really special for today, so how about some music? Of course, you love music and you'll love Sonic 3 & Knuckles: Project Chaos. However, I'm having some playback issues with half of the songs on disc 3, so only discs 1 and 2 are online for now. I should get that mess sorted and the lyrics for next week's update. As with all of our new albums, the album artwork is attached to every song allowing it to show up on iPods.

It's time for some remixes! To start the ball rolling, I uploaded Sonic the Hedgehog 2: Hedgehog Heaven. I also moved MetalHog to the remixes section since that's where it belongs. I also cleaned up the Remixes index, updated the Contact Us information, and updated the Advertise with SoaH information.

Hopefully next week we'll have some Sonic Valentine's Day Cards. We will have the results from Round 12 of LOL This posted next week. What else? We'll just have to see. Anyway, discuss this update in the forums.

This week, we have a music update. The rare Super Sonic Dance Attack album is up. This should give you a feel for how we'll be doing and revamping the music pages. The album cover has been attached to all of the songs.

However, that's not all. Coming later on we'll have the Planetary Pieces album. I just got the music and now I'm waiting for some more materials to go with the section. I'll update later on when it's uploaded, which will take some time, so check back tomorrow.

Speaking of Planetary Pieces, don't you agree that Endless Possibility could use MORE COWBELL!? Or perhaps you think Live and Learn or Solaris Phase need more cowbell.

Hey, it's that weekly update thing being weekly. Nothing too big this week. I fixed some mistakes in the Sonic Adventure 2 Comic section. I posted the winners from Round 11 of LOL This Sonic Fans, so go check those out. Then when you're done, you may want to enter in Round 12.

The new interesting feature this week: iPhone/iPod Touch Wallpapers in the Desktop section. There's not much right now, but I believe we have more Sonic iPod wallpapers than any other site. There's 3 Sonic Genesis Style, 3 Sonic Adventure Style, and 3 Shadow the Hedgehog wallpapers totally 9.

» January 13, 2009 / Comics Reborn!
I'm really surprised as to how many people are still interested in the web site, so I'm going to start updating every week. Yes, for now on SoaH will be updated every Tuesday. One of the big things everyone wants SoaH to have is a complete music collection. Of course, we won't just have every Sonic song. We'll feature lyrics, album art attached to every song, detailed song descriptions, and whatever else people want. We got this topic going on to gather help. Of course, since we'll be updating weekly, we'll do a big push on remixes. I'm still working on the details on how that section is going to work.

Next week I'll upload some music. For this week though, I've revamped the fan comics section. I've ditched the whole gallery layout that way the comics match the site. We are looking for drawn comics to feature, so drop me a message if you have any to submit.
