Stritix
Welcome to SoaH City's new forums! We have managed to restore the Sonic United forums from January 2015. SoaH City's forums were using a far older backup of Sonic United's forums with years of data missing. If you registered in January 2015 or before, your account will be intact. You may log in with your old display name. If you cannot remember your password, you can use the reset password feature. If you cannot remember what email you used or if you are not sure whether you registered with us before, simply send us an email at webmaster @ soahcity.com and we will assist you. If you registered after January 2015 then you can register a new account. Only register a new account if you are certain you do not already have an account with us as we only allow one account per member. I must mention, this is the last backup of Sonic United's forums which is from when we were merged with SFGHQ. We decided to take the sites solo to develop more unified sites after the database broke in May 2015. We are not affiliated with SFGHQ any more. This is entirely SoaH's solo forums using Sonic United's database, despite the old merger data still being here. Numerous site improvements have been made. The forums design is much cleaner now, the forums layout has been improved, the forums link colour has been changed to blend in more with the theme, and there's some general CSS clean up. We also have a new staff member joining us. KiddoCabbusses has joined the staff team as a moderator. He has helped the site a lot over the years. Old Sonic United staff members have returned as well. gsoft and DimensionWarped have returned as administrators. Both did a fantastic job and did a lot for SoaH's launch in April 2015. gsoft is actually largely responsible for helping with restoring Sonic United's forums. Mr. Potatobadger has resumed his moderator role too. He did a great job moderating the community on Sonic United. We're glad to have them all on board. Sorry we were down for so long. We're glad to be back! Update: We originally launched the restored version of Sonic United's forums in early August. On September 19th there was a corruption issue which resulted in the forums going down. Since then there have been several attempts at restoring the forums however each attempt had issues which have now been resolved. You may sign up and post without worrying about the forums reverting to an older backup. gsoft will be restoring his themes for the site shortly and we will be pushing ahead with site plans. Sorry for the downtime. We're officially back.
Starturbo
Really glad the forums are back now! If there are truly no issues now (which, it sounds like there aren't), we shouldn't have to worry about them going down again anytime soon.
EnigmaticScarecrow
Glad to see the issues have been resolved. If we're good from here, that's certainly great news!
GSF
Yes, I know what you're (probably) thinking: AGAIN? It's been a long road... Back on the first attempts we had some glaring issues that were easily noticed (such as accounts without email addresses causing some weird behavior) but on the subsequent 'shots' the issues were getting smaller, quirkier and harder to discover. The latest one in particular wasn't about the forums frontend or anything on the 'member/user' side, but it was something more from 'behind the scenes'. The forums seemed to work fine (at least to us) but the backend wasn't exactly working as intended. Props to Stritix for finding the cause behind the weird problems we had. So... yeah. You already know the gist - If you had vB-era (late '06 ~ '11) account on SFGHQ you can log back in with your old credentials (if you remember them - or you can use the pass reset function). If you had a 'SFGHQnited' era account ('13-'14) the same applies - account should still work. If you made a new account during the 'weird issues' period (Sept~up until now) then it's gone so just make a new one. NOTE: Regardless of your account's age, I recommend changing passwords so that it updates to the newest hash corresponding to the newer forum software.
