InfinityAlex
It's possible one of you run time extensions are missing or incorrect; did you use the same one that's in your extensions folder? If so, put in the proper mfx file and try building the application again.
Spykid
its possible, but its been working fine for ages, but now its SAGE, it wont work lol. I have checked the extensions and it seems fine
GSF
A hundred possible reasons come to mind. Do you use HWA? If so, a driver issue could be the cause.
Sir Spacebar
This happened to me some time ago. Check your frame. Did any actives dissappear? Did a layer suddenly fuck itself over? Maybe check your event editor in case of a bad event. Then delete it.
Spykid
unless HWA is included in worlds delta 1.4.3, then no and I will try building the basic base level too see if its something to do with extensions.

GSF
MMF2 and CF2.5 work reasonably well in Wine, though... I still prefer to use them inside a virtual machine, but I run the finished applications in Wine directly.
InfinityAlex
lmao, virtual machines are more hassle than they're worth.
GSF
Not really. I can use all the windows only software I need and open Office 2007+ documents with 100% compatibility. Also, snapshots allow me to easily revert to a working state if something breaks down, no need for a reformat & reinstall Windows scenario. It's also great for trying out new loonax distros. They're easy to set up and manage, and at least for me they come in very handy. It's also important in order to compare how applications work in Wine and Windows. Usually Wine does things better... danjo
did this happen after you updated to build 282.0? it seems joystick2 does not detect - yet when i drop in an older version of joystick2 - it loads, but crashes.
Spykid
yes... is there anything i can do?
GSF
Try updating Joystick2. To do so, open CF2.5 without opening your application and in the insert object dialog make sure that you update all your extensions. If you're on MMF2 then you'll need to manually update it. Issues on build happen when there's a version mismatch between the .mfx in the /Extensions and the .mfx in the /Data/Runtime directories. Make sure you properly update the extension by updating both mfx files.

GSF
Well, that helps. Grab the whole CF directory from your good installation and copy it replacing the bad one.
