TRD
Info: Sonic Turbo 2 is the continuance of Sonic Turbo, and my current game in progress. It's a Sonic Fangame with I've been working on since January. It uses Damizean's 360 Engine along with my modifications and add-ons. This game will be COMPLETELY different from the first Turbo and it will be better. Just about everything will be custom made: *Sonic Sprite *Backgrounds *Items Boxes and objects *Badniks *Bosses *Animated Cutscenes *and Much more. Aerosol
that demo...was the shit. level design was slightly linear, but it was fun to play, and the presentation was off the hook!
Spike
Great game, If I say so myself. And I do. Why do you use MMX level cards, though? It even has the Sigma logo and everything. I mean, come on, at least think of your own boss logo.
Zenor
That's not megaman title card. Megaman title card is a "Σ", that means "Sigma", thought.
Spike
That's Sigma's logo, the "Σ" that's made to look like a wolf or something.
TRD
Yeah it was, Zenor. It's temporary spike. Thank you so far, everyone.
OverbounD
Very nice, I love the background art. I agree that the "level design was slightly linear.", however.

Kain
@ Hoj: it's on the site that goes with these forums. Since you're clamoring for replies: A couple of presentation quirks with me, nothing severe, just bothers me for it to take so long for a demo to start (i.e. get through the opening, even skipping), just cause I'm F2-ing it so often. Also, I'm not a big fan of 20MB demos just cause you can, but it's a big enough level, so I won't complain. That being said, the demo's pretty great. Gimmicks are implemented well: though they're a little rough around the edges, they work like they should all the time, not just some of the time. However, the moving platforms of the bottom path didn't seem to be coordinated and that was a bit annoying. Also, there are a couple of rough 360 degree edges leading to a few running-off moments. All around, it is a little rough around the edges, but excellent graphics, well-implemented gimmicks and enemies, and good (albeit not too overtly multi-pathed) level design. Also some pretty great presentation with the cut scenes and whatnot. I didn't play the original Turbo, but this is certainly worth playing. Guest Mental_Tails
awesomeness, That gave me something to do for a day.Very intristing tast of music to.where did you get it?
Hoj
Kain, you've got good opinions & you're right. My personal thought so far is that the games a little scruffy - but the ability's there to make this something really special. If TRD gets help from some flash wizard for those cut scenes, & help with level design and graphics, & the engine being slightly tuned this could easily be one of the best fan games going. TRD; you've got what it takes
Kain
@ Mental_Tails: I can identify about 75% of them as being from the Megaman X series, though a couple I'm less sure about. But that's where most of them come from. Particularly Megaman X4, IIRC.
Guest Mental_Tails
I agree, This certainly has potential, And i must say since I played turbo this craped on it and threw it out to see.

It's the music, unfortunately. I don't what to do. Thanks for the review anyways, I'll fix those bugs ASAP. Hoj: Thanks.

Zenor
put the sounds/musics in a separate .ZIP. Also, there are lots of musics that aren't used in this demo.
Guest Mental_Tails
What about the level music, I'm guesing that was a remix? If so where did you get it?
TRD
Also, there are lots of musics that aren't used in this demo. You're right, there was 2 songs that were not needed for this demo. I've removed them, and now the file is 19mb. I've replaced my first link with it. Btw, Zenor, did the bridge bug still existed for you?

Rael0505
Hey TRD, if you want to lower the music filesize, try converting it to OGG using winLAME. I can't play the demo now, but it looks good. Maybe tonight.
TRD
New Version now available, ogg support so it's lighter now, 13mb.
LarkSS
Uh, I'm not sure if WinRAR can unzip this file type, but if you use 7-zip and compress the game into a .7z archive, it's usually compressed much tighter than a .rar. Downloading it right now. I'll edit my post later with commenty goodness.
TRD
If it doesn't work for you LarkSS, I've now put the demo in a zip file. I'll look at 7-zip some other time. Download from first link.
