My experience with consoles is I always got them about 4 years late...and sure I missed out on all the hype and cool stuff, but I also knew the best games to get and I got most of them on the cheap. (Metroid Prime for seven dollars...) I think PCs are better equipped for gaming...Kinect as part of the infrastructure is really cool for devs, but it's downright creepy...almost as creepy as Tails Doll. Heinous Creature Posted July 10, 2013 Report Share Posted July 10, 2013 Kinect is actually a double-edged sword for devs. Forced implementation with the console could in theory produce quality usage eventually...but likewise, it could also result in a lot of 'shovelware' and forced inclusions that range from inconvenient to downright stupid.
