Chances are there will be some random explanation like "Oh yeah so they came from another universe." or something like that. Everyone here will just accept them or it'll be like Sonic X.... which is basically that... or created in a laboratory or some crazy thing.

Kinda salty I missed SAGE for this reason. Oh well.

The simple answer is most electronic and orchestral, but I get kind of picky. The songs that really grab me are in genres like Nu Jack Swing Nu Jack Swing: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=N6blgjF6UkU Those Euro 90s dance songs: (Yeah I know that's Sonic, but that's the only one I could think of. I know it's cheesy, but I like the way these types of songs sound. Jungle DnB: Film Noir Jazz: (These are just so mellow. This + Rainymood = perfect) I normally listen to instrumentals and video game music though. However, I hate to say "video game music" because those are still in genres. I feel that songs in games (more often than not) have a bit more character. That's not to insult other songs. I like a lot of songs with interesting chord progressions as well regardless of genre. Oh, and I also like listening to whatever you'd call this.

A friend of mine started working on a game and Game Maker was acting odd on his computer, so he decided to switch to Stencyl. Link: http://www.stencyl.com/ It's kind of like GM/MMF2/C2 from the looks of it. I've been messing around in it with him for a bit and it doesn't seem that bad, but I'm pretty new at it. Have any of you ever tried it out? I like that you can see the code version of the logic you make from the drag'n'drop blocks. Only weird thing is that until I DL'ed Visual Studio 2010 Express, it wouldn't run any of my test builds, no matter which platform I picked. So, your thoughts?
