Sonic Runners was shut down last year, however a new Sonic game for mobile has been revealed called Sonic Runners Adventure. The new Sonic mobile game was revealed on a mobile gaming message board and has been revealed to be an endless runner, similar to Sonic Runners.
Gameloft has also created a support page for the game. A support page already being online for the game seems to indicate Sonic Runners Adventure may be coming a lot sooner than you’d think. The support page reveals the game will not require a constant internet connection, although you will require an internet connection when you first start the game. Timed mode has been confirmed for the game as well as three different stage types; Finite, Infinite, and Looped. It has also been revealed that you can purchase new playable characters using rings.
