Project Sonic 2017’s title has been officially revealed to be Sonic Forces at the Sonic SXSW event. Takashi Iizuka has stated forces is a large part of the game, which is the reasoning behind the title. Forces of good and the forces of evil fighting it out for control will play a large part in Sonic Forces. In addition to the title reveal, an updated version of the trailer from July 2016 has been released, as well as new concept art of Sonic Forces.
