Sonic Mania Announced

At the Sonic 25th Anniversary Party, SEGA announced a new Sonic game titled; Sonic Mania.

Set for a spring 2017 release for Xbox One, PS4, and PC, the new 2D sidescroller is highly reminiscent of classic Sonic games. The game is being led by Christian Whitehead, with Takashi Iizuka, and features both new, and reimagined classic zones. Sonic, Tails, and Knuckles are playable, and a new attack called the “Drop Dash.”
