Sonic Adventure 2: Battle (2002)

Sonic is captured aboard a military helicopter after Shadow had stolen a Chaos Emerald from the bank. Sonic escapes the military helicopter and heads into the city. Sonic then encounters Shadow who proceeds to use the chaos emerald he had stolen to transport to a different location. Sonic realizes he has been mistaken for Shadow. Sonic is then arrested. Meanwhile, Knuckles argues with Rouge over who owns the Master Emerald. Dr. Eggman attempts to steal the emerald, however Knuckles stops him by breaking the Master Emerald into many different pieces. Knuckles and Rouge then hunt for the pieces of the Master Emerald. The next day, Tails visits Prison Island in search of Sonic. Tails rescues Amy from Dr. Eggman while doing so. The Hero Story consists of Sonic, Tails, and Knuckles. The Dark Story consists of Shadow, Dr. Eggman, and Rouge. Both teams head out to complete their mission in Sonic Adventure 2.
