Sonic Revolution 2016 Announces Seven Special Guests

It has been several months since Sonic Revolution confirmed its return for the 2016 convention season, and the event is now ready to announce several of its special guests for the event to be held on June 12, 2016 in Los Angeles, California.

The first special guest is Evan Stanley, an artist most well-known for her work on the Archie Sonic the Hedgehog comics and her long-running Sonic fancomic, Ghosts of the Future. Evan Stanley will be running a booth in the Artist Alley for anyone wishing to meet her.

The event’s second guest is Bill Freiberger, the co-producer of the Sonic Boom TV series, and the voice actor for Comedy Chimp and Lady Walrus on the show.

Alan Denton and Greg Hahn

Also from the Sonic Boom TV series are Alan Denton and Greg Hahn, co-writers on the series who have written several episodes.

A fifth special guest is Tyson Hesse, a recurring artist on the Archie Sonic comics and former artist on the Boxer Hockey webcomic (which you might remember for its memetic Sonic parody). Mr. Hesse will be running a table at the event’s Artist Alley.

Another special guest for the event is Scott Shaw!, the first person to ever draw Sonic the Hedgehog in the Archie Sonic comics. Mr. Shaw! will be running a table in the Artist Alley.

Sonic Revolution is also proud to announce the attendance of professional musician and disc jockey DJ Ear, who will be the DJ for the event’s background music.

The event has yet to publish a full schedule of stage and floor activities, but I will be keeping you all informed as more information is finalized.

Sonic Revolution 2016 is a not-for-profit fan event to be held at the Holiday Inn LAX from 10 AM to 6 PM on June 12, 2016 in Los Angeles, California. Tickets are available for $4.99 via EventBrite for all interested in attending.
