Chikao Otsuka, Eggman’s Japanese Voice Actor, Passes Away at 85

Today we’re sad to report that Chikao Otsuka, the Japanese voice of Dr. Eggman since Sonic Adventure back in 1998, has passed away due to heart failure at the age of 85.

Besides Dr. Eggman, some other notable roles of his were Master Xehanort (Kingdom Hearts) and Big Boss (Metal Gear), among many others.

We give our condolences to his family and friends, and mourn the loss of a fantastic performer. May he rest in peace.
