Taxman and Stealth’s Sonic the Hedgehog 2.0 update has just been released onto Britain’s iOS App Store. It has been confirmed by Taxman himself that the update will be released for the US and Canada iOS App Store tomorrow (Thursday 16 PST) with an Android release as well.
The new version of the game has crisp clear sound, improved visuals, widescreen, time attack, spindash, runs at a solid 60fps, a few easter eggs. Miles “Tails” Prower and Knuckles the Echidna have also been added as unlockable characters.
This is by far the definite version of Sonic 1. I highly recommend checking this out.
